BEAKER (Acting & Improv Coach), and yes, that is his nickname, has been acting for more than 25 years. He got his start in children’s theatre, playing Mr. Beaver, in “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” and has loved performing ever since.

He did many productions in high school and then branched out into community theatre, college productions, and friends’ theatre companies, including one show in which he co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in. His roles have varied from bit parts to leading roles, comedy to drama, a cast of 6 to a cast of 40+, one acts to 3 act plays, a few musicals, and everything in between.

While attending Arizona State University, and receiving his BA in Communication, he continued to learn, practice, and honehis skills in acting, improv, physical comedy, movement, dialects, and even a little puppetry.

During college, he was the Assistant Director to The Creative Zone which was a group of children (ages 10 - 16) that performed scenes, skits, and on-the-spot improv. The group performed at the Mesa Arts Center, libraries, and monthly improv sessions at the local coffee shops. This allowed him to teach acting (comedy and drama), play improv games, write skits/scenes, co-direct, and contribute some dance and stage combat/stunt choreography.

Deciding to take the next step, he moved to California to pursue acting. He has performed and entertained at the Disneyland Resort, Knott’s Berry Farm, & Halloween Haunt. He also performed all over Southern California at elementary schools with The Imagination Machine teaching children about reading and writing for more than 7 years.

As if that weren't enough...he somehow found time for performing in community shows, helping with fundraisers (behind the scenes as well as portraying many characters in them), working at a museum giving guided tours, performing at birthday parties (various themes & characters), co-writing scripts/skits to be filmed (still waiting for it be picked up), writing shows for a local theatre, as well as starting the process of writing books for children, young adults, and adults.

Most recently, he taught children and adults acting and improv with Gray Studios, a Los Angeles and Orange County based acting studio. This connection provided him the opportunity to go to Nashville, Tennessee one weekend a month teaching students (ages 5 - 30+).

He recently moved to Las Vegas with his wife and is excited for the opportunity to coach any and all who want to be...

SEEN & HEARD!!!
